Title: R5B assembly question
Post by: Greaser Greg on September 27, 2019, 12:29:35 PM
In the various manuals I have there is a kickstart mechanism diagram and the part #12 washer doesn't seem to me to have a reason to be there. My guess is that it might protect the seal from the snap ring but there doesn't seem to be a way for them to make contact. Anybody know what the washer does?  Tried to add a pic but my files are too big and this old iPad won't let me adjust them.

Never mind I looked at the case side cover and the kickstart hole has a flange that goes inside the spring and pushes the seal up against the washer, mprotecting it from the snap ring. Thanks anyway, haha.
