Title: Foot peg alternatives
Post by: Greaser Greg on October 03, 2019, 08:43:08 PM
I was looking at my r5b frame today thinking about sticking the motor back in and grabbed the foot peg assembly. It's pretty heavy and I wondered what people have come up with as options for something lighter. Are rear sets the only way to accomplish this without dropping a ton of loot on some custom replacement for the stock setup?

Jspooner makes a nice set that is not too extreme and looks stock if you use passenger pegs. Not very pricy either.

If you can (or are willing to) weld tabs on the frame, 90's sportbike foot controls are cheap and easy to adapt.
