Title: Oil leak from gear selector shaft - RD350
Post by: 350GUY on October 04, 2019, 07:23:48 PM
Hi all:

There's considerable oil seeping out from the engine crankcase right at the gear selector shaft area.
The oil seal was replaced due to this leak, however it still persists.
I suspect that the aluminium casing has worn quite a bit as the oil seal just pops in/out effortlessly.
Have anyone of you encountered this? What could be the permanent fix to this? Thanks in advance!

B/R,

Daryl

Weatherstrip sealant might do it.

Might try a good RTV sealant.
