Hi
I have couple of questions after reading a lot about the pros of using 2t pump i have decided to service my pump and use it
1) what is the 2t fuel line size that goes from 2t tank to the 2t pump
2) what size for 2t pump to the carb injector nozzle
3) is there any sort of 2t fuel line filters like how we have for petrol to capture any dust ?
4) i am planning to run on fully synthetic oil so that the oil is thin and the pump has less effort to pump oil (is that a valid point )?
For petcock to carbs i have got 6.5mm ID polyetherin pipes will thy fit the 2tank to 2t pump
Cheers

just to bump the thread
as I am interested to know what the experts have to say about this
Not sure what the exact size, but here are my measurements:
1. 3/16, You must use a fuel line clamp
2. 3mm ID and 5mm OD
3. You can run an inline filter (pyramid) between the oil tank and the pump
4. **Run oil that is for injectors. According to many, they have a certain viscosity compared to premix oil, but who knows. I am not going to start an OIL debate.
Do not run a filter on an of the oil lines.

Why would you want to run a filter?? If you think the tank has dirt in it then you should take it off and thoroughly clean it. If you think you are going to spill dirt into the tank then use a funnel with a filter when you add oil. From my perspective a filter just provides an opportunity to starve the pump of oil which means no oil for the engine which is not good. The viscosity of the oil changes with temperature much more so than
gasoline petrol so the filter flow rate will change radically with temperature change. I would not put an inline filter in the oil line.... just my :twocents:
A lot of people just clean their oil tank by running gasoline through the tank to flush it out.
