Those old gas powered washers are super cool. Our family went up to Santa Cruz in Northern California for a quick vacation and stopped at a huge rest stop/gas station. They had tons of old cars, equipment, a 50's style diner and other stuff inside that I had never seen before. Here is one of things that stood out to me that you reminded me of:
