Hi Guys,
Do any of the screws inside the engine casings get loctited?  The two screws that hold the bracket that holds the shift drum in place where really stuck in there and came loose with a snap.
Thanks again!

I would do it since it partially holds the cases together. I think it also retains a bearing or something, I might be mixing up another engine...

I replace with allen button heads and loctite all the little machine screws inside the sidecovers.
Sure would make a mess if one of those suckers backed out.

				Blue is fine.

thanks again guys.. excelent advice to swap out the stock phillips ones.. they seem soft as butter.

If you get Japanese spec Philips screwdrivers they dont strip as easily. Or you can also grind down a bit off the tip of a regular philips

yes, JIS bits are a must. but allens are better.
this is on the 250 suzuki motor, but you can bet i blue loctite'd them in.
