Please put some light on how to remove the rotor. It seems to be very stubborn. But rotates with Crank.
Thanks
See the internal threads in the flywheel around where the nut goes? There should be a puller available that threads into that and then pushes on the end of the crank. It looks like it might be the same as what an MZB would use but I don't really know. Maybe someone that knows will chime in.
Yes, there is a thread in there. Thanks jspooner, anyone know the thread size and pitch would be helpful.
Update : The thread is 27x1.0, ordered the below Item. Hopefully this will work
Yup.
Carefully thread the puller all the way in till it bottoms out
Then ... thread in the center bolt of the puller till its snug against the crank and under tension.
Then ... sharply whack the end of the bolt with a hammer til it frees and use the center bolt to pull the rotor free of the taper.
You can use the puller alone without the hammer but it's way more risky to fuck something up.
buy the one with both 21mm and 27mm. It saved me when another issue came up with a bike. They are dirt cheap.
27mm puller came it is LH thread :bang: Cant use it. Looking for a RH thread, but could not find it. Rotor has RH thread.
Any one has an Item Number please help with the info.
I bought mine way too long ago from Yamaha...I thought the Banshee one would work? (27mm X 1.0 L.H.) Pretty sure that the one I have.
Would the Canadian RD400 be different?
Might have to ask on the UK forum...

Thanks Chuck,
Left a question in UK forum. May be tomorrow morning I have to check to conform it is RH or LH.
The thread is 27x1.0 LH, My mistake guys, the edge of the thread in the rotor was damaged. So the puller can not go in, finally filed all the damages and got the roter out today
