I'm new here and I'd like some information on long rod kits.
I bought an RD350 project and the previous owner had bought a long rod set-up for the crank and he bought Wiseco pistons specifically for the long rods.
The big end pins have no offset to lengthen the stroke.
What do you think of the set-up? Is it worth putting the long rods in (and special pistons) just to change the leverage the pistons have on the crank?
Could someone who has done this exact mod enlighten me on the problems and results?
I have some unknown chambers that have a large belly and some sorts of flat slide carbs. I need to look into it further..
Some from the triples boards know me, to others, here are a few of my bikes.
Welcome Joe!!! There is a wealth of knowledge here.

Welcome to the board. I remember that screen name from the triples forums.
Jspooner is running a 375 long rod engine and supertune has experience with them. I'm sure both will chime in soon.
