Looks like all they are missing is the big snap ring. The flanges are on the pipe.
Here's mine.

yup. they changed the design and flipped the cans on the later ones, smart change to make, to help keep cans from flying off.   :toot:

It's true.  They make good power but the OG can design was lame.

Didn't realize those pipes had integrated caps on them. That certainly limits your can options!

Surprising they would have made them like that in the first place as the shipping box has to be twice as big.

probably got tired of people complaining about launching silencers, and they were like 'how do we use these 500 leftover aluminum cans?' lol.

all they needed to do was add spring hooks and it would have been fine (ive done that on sets of OG fpps)  :twocents:

The new cans are way better. I still drilled holes and safety wired mine though they never moved since installed.

Mine have the new style can (and decal) I must have bought from them just before they stopped making M/C pipes (1993).

I have a set of the early type H2 pipes that I bought NOS from a guy named  Klee. They were on the Phoenix Project for several years. I had tabs welded on mine and used springs to keep the cans on. There is a picture of them installed on the chamber ID thread. I like them on the RZ way better than on the H2.
