Skip to 6:00 to watch him go. It's almost comical how fast that thing is, hard to believe that's real life.

I would say small world but instead I will say small internet. I watched this exact video 24 hrs ago.
it goes until it runs out of fuel, no on-off.
no thanks.
If you fall off it must flail around like a fire hose with no fireman. That has to be a scary sight!
so how much trial and error did it take to get the correct amount of fuel.
This is really old technology the Germans developed this method of propulsion back in WWII. They tried to use it for airplanes but it wasn't very successful since there is no control of the reaction, once you start it there is no stopping it until the fuel is gone. It was part of their R&D work with jet propulsion that was never perfected.
I've seen Eric run this bike into the low 5's, the Guy is :whoop: :taz: barking :toot: :busey: mad !!!
During the 80's in the UK we also had the privilege of watching the original "Rocket Man" Sammy Miller regularly ran his rocket powered funny cars in the mid to high 3's and @ 300mph+ and that was over a 1/4 mile too. It wasn't until late 2011 before TF funny car's hit the 3's and that was only over a 1000ft !!!
