Title: RD400 Rear Brake Options
Post by: RattlecanResto on March 22, 2020, 12:35:29 PM
Wondering what any of you all may have used as a replacement rear master cylinder?I will assume a mounting bracket will need to be made. Any other mods?
Thanks

Here's an option. Not cheap but allows you to keep the stock caliper.

Just curious, what has the master cylinder have to do with the caliper? Except for bore diameter requirement? I would think mounting lugs, reservoir size & style, and pushrod dimensions are more important if stock pegs and brake pedal/linkage are used.

Keeping everything stock. Original bore size is 14mm?

In that case, what about resleeving it?

It would've been more to the point if I had said that I'm using this MC with the stock caliper.
