Post by: rd400greenhorn on April 27, 2020, 03:31:12 PM
Hi guys

My question is

Do I use this Kit and NOT the rectifier i have got -( this alu housing with cooling fine)?

Because it says in the powerdynamo Kit it comes with a reg/rec

Don't forget to run your neutral wire thru the wire loom.

I have run a neutral wire through 👍 but just read and looked at the papers with this ignition unit

Seems as I bought a reg/rec not knowing one different came with the Kit

At least different looking then this with cooling fins

Use the top one, without any fins.

Take your time with the install, it's easy really. I think it took me longer to remove all of the old system then it did to install the new.
You'll have to remove a small bit of the case and some from the back side of the side cover to get it all to fit but it's really not bad. The instructions mention some of that.
