Title: Value of a DS7 with a title, missing seat
Post by: rdsarefun on May 22, 2020, 12:45:22 PM
Just as the subject line states, I am looking into the "value" of a running (poorly though) DS7 with a good title.  Chrome and tin work is in good condition, new tires installed.  Everything on bike appears to function, complete minus the seat.    Not sure of how many times it been bored or current mileage, video current owner sent me sounds like leaking thru right crank seal as engine smokes a little more on that side and has hard time idling.  Seems as if trans oil is a little low, would go in line with my suspicion.  Trying to determine a "realistic price" before pursuing any further. I would refresh the engine though.  Thanks, Brian

Is it the one on FB fs out near Pittsburgh?  Looks nice, all there minus seat. He dropped the price...reasonable for running with a title. A great excuse to install R5 jugs while rebuilding the engine
