I am looking for the original style clamps for the rear brake cylinder to reservoir hose. So far I am unable to find a picture. Does anyone have a pic or know what type of clamps were used?
I am fixing the brakes and am trying to do resto style in case I decide to restore this bike.
Thanks!
No clamps other than some rubber wrap bushings on the hose along the stock swingarm tabs.

Hi Chuck, I mean the brake fluid reservoir hose

part #90601-11525-00
This is the current part but no photo
Yamaha 90601-11525-00 CLAMP, HOSE
I have pics of the ones on my 400 but not sure if they're OEM.
Yea, I ordered the Yamaha part number but they just sent screw type clamps which I suspect are substitutions for the original. That's why I'm trying to see what the original ones looked like.
everyone i've seen was a worm screw style. But im not a die hard 400 guy so... :umm:
The ones on mine are slotted hex-head worm screw type like Mark mentioned. I have a take-off rear master setup from a CAN RD400F/G in the garage I can look at to compare.
Checked my spare rear setup, it's got similar clamps but they don't appear to be OEM because they're a little too long for the application. I'm sure Yamaha wouldn't use oversized clamps.
My brother has a '77 that is nearly 100% original. I can check what his has on it.
Here's a closeup of a marking I found on one of the clamps on my '79
Based on info in old parts books I believe the original part number is 90460-16068-00 HOSE, CLAMP
which was superseded by 90601-11525-00
I have 2 RD400s, one I bought new and both look like this. Quite a bit of extra length hangs out.
