Sometimes it's hard to choose which one to ride even though they are 40 years apart.

The 790 is a great machine, the power to weigh and handling are incredible. I just wish I would have waited for the 890. I raced an RC390 for years, the 790 is much more reliable then the Indian built 390 powerplant.
is it built in Austria? the indian build quality was making me nervous on mine, why i traded it on the cb1100. never an issue but still, was always nagging and was starting to hear things on the ktm boards.

Correct the 790 is built in Austria. The 390's and lower displacement street models are the only KTM's built in india.
Not many new bikes get my goat but the Dukes pretty much all do it for me. I even like the big old singles!

Here's another one for you then. This is my RC390 chassis with a 690 powerplant. 75hp and 290 lbs.
