I assume you have a plan for kill switch and light switch?

get some pvc tube and make a ring around the throttle tube, glue it on with pvc cement. seen this done a number of times on other bikes.

I'm interested to see how this turns out.

I go back and forth on wanting to put bigger carbs on mine. I know i would want a straight pull throttle, but want to keep the stock switch and make it all look decent.

That's one of the things preventing me from doing it. Among others.

You can do as mark said and maybe get away with using your stock control but why? Just get a Magura 314 throttle and that can be made to work with your cable, you will have to eliminate the light switch but who cares, just wire it so its on all the time like it should be anyway. You will also loose the stock kill switch but that's no big deal either, just wire in a new one, I went with an MX button style on mine.
