Title: Source for push button
Post by: oxford on August 05, 2020, 09:48:08 AM
Anybody have a source for this push button with a black center button rather than red?  I'm pretty sure I have seen them but can't seem to find one.

Is that for a kill button?....................try partzilla and look up an older YZ from the mid to late 70s. They used what I think you are looking for.

Digikey. The only problem there is too many choices. Their online catalog has many useful filters though.

Also Mouser.

Yes the above picture is a generic aftermarket kill button for dirt bikes.  I have the one pictured above with the red button for a kill switch.  I was looking for a matching black button one for the horn.

I know they are out there, just can't find one at the moment. :bang:

I bought one of those at cycle gear.  I had it on my DT250 and I believe it was a normally open switch and it grounded the ignition system to stop running.
