Any merit to the single carb setup?  I would think it would increase the chance if inconsistent combustion?

No merit from a single carb. You will loose a lot on top to gain maybe a bit on the bottom.

Mark answered my question before I asked it,....I was wondering if that intake was something homemade or an aftermarket part. There was not a clear picture on his ad.

Whoever made that carb misspelled "Klein". :dawg:

1 exhaust port full of JB weld and the other with a regular weld.

Ad says soda blasted.  I think it was but a pretty half ass job.  It doesn't help that soda isn't super abrasive trying to clean up parts like that.  I'm guessing someone started, saw how slow the progress was going and said fuck it, good enough.

I was gonna say, I built a vapor blaster to have some nice looking parts and they do not look like that!! Yikes.

soda blasted, vapor honed.. he didnt do either. hes flipping it from somebody that told him that shit.

Im pretty sure the exhaust is the result of a wire wheel smearing the residue trying to clean it off.

I'll hook you up with a 6-speed, Joe. Trade you for a set of them Klein carburetors...wait, didn't they make bicycles?
