:metal:EDIT: I think it's working now. Cleaned all the IGN parts. Now I'm able to start the bike on the other side alone. However the bike is running away from me. :metal:
I'm not getting spark at the spark plug, but if I play around at the ignition points I get spark. What should I do?

Ah! I'm not following :( what should I do? :umm:
Could there be a ground I might need to check for? Again if I move the points at the ignition I get spark at the plug; otherwise I don't.
i misunderstood. i thought you had spark at points but not at plug.
whats new, and whats old in that system?

The bike starts and fires on right side. Nothing has been changed other than new spark plugs. Gapped by Chuck ;). I've swapped them and the other plug will fire on the other side.
I have a multimeter. Is there anything I can check at IGN?
Strange that if I kick started or spin in the ignition by hand there is no spark. However once I jab the point with a screwdriver I get spark at the plug
are the points opening and closing with the motor?

Seems I was able to remedy the issue by cleaning the points. Yes the points were opening and closing. could be that there might have been some rust on the contacts? Now on to the new issue of the motor running away.
that would do it. :toot:
