Title: Sidestand bracket angle RD350A
Post by: Dvsrd on March 26, 2021, 05:03:42 AM
Years ago, I welded in a patch in the frame crossmember under the engine, where the sidestand mount often breaks. And then welded in 3 threaded slugs, for a bolt on sidestand bracket.
Then I never got any further on this project.
But now I am going to work overseas, and will have time to work on it.
But I need to know the angle of a stock sidestand bracket. Just how many degrees it "bends down" from horisontal. A couple of pictures would be nice too.
From the side, and from front.

My 74 kickstand is at 49 degrees down if I measure just above the very bottom.

Thanks a lot!
That picture should give me a pretty accurate angle, just need to get hold of a protractor. For the next 8-10 days, I'm stuck in a quarantine hotel in Rio, so it'll be a while before I can start cutting and bending steel.
