Title: NOS Headlight Rim
Post by: Striker1423 on June 08, 2021, 09:38:39 AM
I need a headlight rim and this guy has one. I worked like crazy to fix my old bucket so everything was straight. But, I messed up my old headlight rim, so it doesn't look right (drilled out the adjuster bolt and accidentally sent the drill bit through the rim).

Problem is... and forgive me if anyone here either is this person, or knows this person. But, I got banned from buying from this guy after he sold me a bent up and cracked RD dash for $250 and refused to refund me any of the money. As far as I'm concerned he can pound sand, but... he does have the best price on the rim's I've seen for anyone that wants one.

If you haven't bought one yet you'd be better off to get one from Speed & Sport in Pennsylvania. It's a little more than half the price the clown in Appleton is asking, and they're legit Yamaha NOS specialists. I've bought quite a few parts from them over the years and I have always been happy.

I'll second that; only good experiences with Speed & Sport

Bought a new rim and screw for the adjuster. They also had listed a new headlight in clean white, but after calling me they realized the inventory was off from 15 years ago.
Dang it lol. But, my old one will clean up nice and take paint fine. Just need to figure out the headlight.
