(not mine) Pretty cool, although there a few things I would change if it was mine.
I wonder how he knows it has 1K miles on it? Don't see a speedo/odo

1974 RD350 cafe racer - $7,500 (crestline)
I bult this RD350 around 3 years ago for a small, fun bike to enjoy on twisty roads on the weekends, it's been an absolute blast to own but new projects and lack of space have forced me to sell it on. I was built to give a 70's racer look with a bit more modern style and a nice streetable tune.
Engine runs great, easy to start, idles smoothly and pulls cleanly through the rev range. Its essentially a stock engine, stock porting, stock ignition and stock sized carbs. YZ125 reeds were added and a set RZ intake manifolds with Banshee crossover tube and a set of UNI foam filters. Chrome Spec 2 expansion chambers along with the correct change of the pilot and main jets gives a nice power band, good punch when it comes "on pipe" while still retaining decent low end for nice manners around town and a great sound. Still has the stock style points ignition but both coils were replaced with brand new OEM coils and new ignition wires. The factory oil injection system is still in use with a custom oil tank so no need to premix fuel.
Fuel tank was changed from the factory to a RD400 tank giving larger capacity and a more modern look along with a new OEM fuel cap and a high flow Pingel dual outlet petcock. A custom tail section was hand built from sheet steel with a custom made seat and both sport a beautiful single stage urethane paint job color sanded and buffed to perfection in a color similar to one available on modern Mustangs. Custom decals were printed to look like the old style Yamaha "racing blocks" and an additional set will be included with the sale. The factory headlamp was retained, mounted with some aftermarket "cafe style" mounting ears and the taillamp has been replaced with a billet "all-in-one" light/license plate frame. Turn signals have been removed but the wiring is still in the headlamp so they can be added fairly easily if the new owner decides to add them.
The frame is essentially stock as well but has upgraded with taper roller head bearings and bronze swing arms bushings. The front forks were completely rebuilt with new lip seals and dust seals and were upgraded with Racetech cartidridge emulators and Racetech springs as well as preload adjusters to give a much more confident feel especially when pressed hard in corners. The rear shocks were replaced with new Hagon replacements. Tarozzi clip-ons were added as well Fast from the Past rear sets to give a much more aggressive seating position.
The wheels were relaced with Buchahan stainless spokes and the stock steel 1.60 and 1.85 rims were replaced with Excel 2.15 and 2.50 aluminum shouldered rims. Tires are 100/90-18 and 120/80-18. The front rotor was drilled, pads were replaced with EBC pads, hose upgraded to braided stainless, caliper rebuilt and master cylinder replaced with a 13mm unit with built-in stop lamp switch. A 520 chain conversion was completed including new front and rear sprockets(15/43 combination) and a modern DID o-ring chain. The stock side stand was modified to clear the expansion chambers but remains functional and the paddock stand will be included in sale.
Electrics are all in working order, has a new handlebar controls and a anti-gravity battery hidden in the tail section. Both throttle and clutch cables have been replaced with all new OEM parts.
Bike is a completed and well sorted custom build, always starts easy, never stalls at stops and pulls from idle to redline with no flats spots/hesitation. Have ridden over 1000 miles since completion and has never given any problems, a worry-free weekend fun bike that never ceases to be a head turning/conversation starting blast to ride.
I dig it. Seems like some gnarlier pipes and some porting work would do nicely.
