It would be great fun to try, but I worry that an RD engine might make it less suited to "tight trails" and "off road use" :lol:
Our parts guy just yesterday received, in crate, one of these bikes in cruiser guise. XR200-lookalike engine, two-tone paint and 4 gallon (!) peanut tank. Looks like a Sportster at 50 feet. Up close, it looks like Harbor Freight tools. To each his own.
id think would be better suited for a 250-300 cc single 2t. but still prob crap quality everywhere else. whent he used ones come up on marketplace for like 500 bucks... thats when its worth it to try.

Nope, not me. I seldom search CL these days. And usually looking for an old GL1000 fence row find when I do. I'll check with the Time Warp Vintage MC crew next Tuesday and see if anyone there knows. No one mentioned it this evening.
