can we do Dave F mod  only on RD VM28 round slides? can this mod be done of a VM28SS flat slide carbs from a RG250 ?

Anyone here using VM28SS flat slide carbs from a RG250 on a RD350 ?

no point on a flatslide. you just need to tune it. the dave f/dale-a mod was to combat the 4-stroke style emulsion tube the stock vm28s had on the rds.

But you can do it to a VM30 roundslide.

if I open the air jet (now blocked) and try different size air jets will it help in tuning the carb ?
