If the buyers actually pay those prices then they have more money than brains.
i hope the buyers have a kid like Cameron, with a friend like Ferris. :cheerleader:
In 1980 a friend of mine Peter inherited $25k from his grandpa on his 18th birthday. He went right out and paid $18k for a slightly worn '67-ish Ferrari 275 GTB 4-cam (Italian cars didn't have model-years). His family was PISSED! Blew your inheritance on an old foreign car! You idiot! His older sister was particularly abusive. It overheated in traffic and needed work. He kept it in the garage all these years and fixed its problems. Didn't drive it much. It's worth around $3.5M now. $500k premium for being an unrestored original. He might have $50k invested in it total.
A kid in the neighborhood wanted $50 for one of those Yamaha BMX bikes in ~'75. My dad said it was dumb with the shocks and wouldn't buy it for me. It was yellow exactly like the picture. I saved my paper route money and bought a Red Line which was a better bike. I loved that Yamaha with shocks. Looking back it was ahead of its time.

Ahh, hind sight. It's always 20/20.................D
Hindsight runs in my family; it's genetic. I was thinking today on my drive home (you'll love this, Dennis) that maybe a smart man would invest in the missing original parts, put one of his RZs back to stock and sell it before the buyers regain their senses. $16-18K would buy a lot of tires/chains/paint/what-have-you for the remaining bikes. :umm:
Apparently the RZ buyer didn't pay. It's relisted

"It is in mint condition for a 38 year old motorcycle. It does not currently run/operate."
