Title: 73 Transmission
Post by: bheezy27403 on January 25, 2022, 11:59:46 AM
So i am selling a 75 rd250 that needs a rebuild and a 73 rd350 in bits but mostly there. The $ from selling will go to a rebuild on a 74 engine I have. Question is, I believe I only have one tranny between the 2 350 engines I have and I told the guy that's gonna make me an offer that the 350 in bits he was getting was complete. So how hard will it be for me to get another 74 rd350 tranny?

Ok. I will proceed with sale then try to grab one somewhere and get my engine to Ed Toomey

If Mark doesn't find one for you, I have no plans for my '75 350 transmission. PM if interested  :like:

The quick research I did indicates that the 250 and 350 transmissions are all the same (interchangeable) from '73 to '75. Does the hive mind agree?

that is correct. only 'difference' is the clutch gearing and primary gearing, but that's not -really- part of the transmission.
