Title: RD400E starting to come together
Post by: msr on January 31, 2022, 11:42:36 AM
After about a year and a half, my RD400E project is beginning its re-assembly phase. Spent Saturday in m in sc's shop putting the engine cases together. There's also been lots of help so far from other regulars on this board - Kawtriplefreak bead blasted the cases (see pics!), John Ritter ported the cylinders and spent lots of time on the phone with me talking through options, Lyn Gardner sold me the rebuilt crank, and Economy Cycle sold me just about every bearing and seal needed to this point. I can't say how much I appreciate the help and enthusiasm from these guys. It's coming together, y'all!
