Yeah the bidding was bad enough at 19k then the counter bid came at 19.5 and then the 19k bidder had to be a prick and up the ante at 30k. Thanks to Mecums last big bike auction all the fine folks with stupid money half to be drunk with nostalgia. I really don't get it. I mean with all the basket case frames and engine cases as well as loose bits of parts out there on Ebay or where ever and don't forget the cottage industry for these bikes. I have to imagine one can be built from scratch anyways. And then by that point maybe you wouldn't be so afraid to ride it.

Needs a bit more purple.

At 30K  that will never get ridden. Pity.

RB (Rick Brett) had a lot of criticisms about that bike on FB.  At $30k I would agree with him.  My bikes aren't anywhere near stock and the colors might not be spot on but I'm not auctioning them for $30k either.

Just checked out the auction again and that same guy that countered bidded 30k upped it to 40k  I guess he's got some deep pockets and seriously wants it but what a meatball, not even playing nice cause he elevated the high bid from the previous bid that was at 32.5k. Just plain silly.

Look at his BaT account.  Joined - December 2021
Has placed 3 bids ever, all on this H2.
Has made 1 comment ever, also on this H2 asking the seller a stupid question.

I'm a registered BaT bidder but I forget what they do with non-payment beside the $250 that's immediately locked up on your credit card when you make a bid.  It's not clear even reading through the FAQs.

The proverbial "Oops wrong button" bidder... that's who.

According to past postings from BaT management: If a winning bidder fails to follow through with payment they are "banned from future participation on BaT and their buyer's fee is forfeited."
