Hey Folks,
I'm about to swap over from a stock MC & caliper setup on my RD350 race bike to a Brembo / Lockheed combo. I'll need to make an adaptor plate for the new caliper and while I'm at it, I was considering the following...
My caliper rides on the front of the fork lower on the right hand side. Any reason I can't swap the fork lowers and run it on the back of the left hand side? I guess this is mostly for vanity's sake but I do sometimes worry about the brake line being way out there in the breeze in the event of a crash.

Thanks!
swap the fork tubes left to right and mount the tire on reverse rom where it is on the rim. I did the exact same on my lightweight.. no issues at all.
Here's my KH400 with the brake disc swapped from left side to right and the fork legs swapped.
my rd w reversed brake. bit over the top but i like it.

What alloy did you use for that bracket? I need to make one up and was hoping to use 7075 but the price is ten times that of 6061.
its 6061. just fine. its also 3/8" thick. its in compression so no worries.
