Title: RD shifter leak repair
Post by: soonerbillz on March 15, 2022, 03:02:06 PM
This guy says he has a fix for Rd shifter leaks.
I didn't know this was a big thing.
Is this also a R5/YD7 problem too?
And is this repair he is sporting a real repair or just a short term solution?

this was talked about earlier. IMHO, it snot bad.. and will def move the seal out past the 'wear' point that develops on shift shafts.  Ive never had that big a problem, but i have seen some work out shift shafts where the seal sits.

I bought one. It's a well=built piece of kit. Also, the shipping was fast. Got it in about a week after paying him. Air freight.

Not only moves the seal out on the shift shaft, but also takes up any movement in the shaft due to worn bushings.
