Nice, clean, low-km MC21 SP
1991 Honda NSR250R SP Pentax MC21

Wow, wicked pretty example of the NSR250.
It's back on the auction block. Didn't reach reserve last time. It had been listed in their Buy-It-Now section since then, I think the asking price was just over $21K $17K IIRC.

It's back on the auction block. Let's see if it sells this time. :pop:

What a cool, beautiful bike. The description says it was accidentally titled as a 1992 model, and I can relate. I was accidentally titled as "poor", so I won't be bidding on any lovely NSRs. I hope it is bought by someone who will ride it!

LOL as I can relate, checking the link I see it just sold for 16k.

You know what, you're right! It did sell. The current auction is for another Pentax. They're so rare I figured it was the same one again, but comparing the listings it is two different bikes. (Different VIN, mileage, wheel color, silencer color, and slightly different graphics). Same consignor though.

Yeah I bet it is pretty rare, such a cool bike. My biggest gripe with a lot of these two stroke race replicas is that I guess they just don't look all that comfy. Where as the RD's merely have me standing on the pegs once in a while to stretch my legs or relieve myself from a seated position. At least there's no discomfort at the wrists or the knees trying to hustle a sportbike thru the real world.
Kills me sometimes to read their descriptions of bike and model history....

Well where exactly do you find fault with it? I personally know nothing, just looks like a beautiful race replica/ god of war and or minor skirmishes of dogfights on a tight motorcycle racetrack.

Not fault with the bike, other than bits on it painted that shouldn't be....but...
Several small bits of misinformation...Astralite wheels are/were made in the UK, Hondas used Comstar wheels with 24 aluminum straps as spokes. The MC11 was introduced in 1984 not 85. Hondas first two stroke was the 1983 MVX250 which was a V-3.
