What is the general consensus on a new clutch for the RZ. Stock motor with pipes. Ain't goin racing! Would prefer Yamaha stuff.
FZR 1000 fibers and I used EBC springs on mine. Make sure you get a new o-ring for the water pipe in the side cover, or you will end up with a transmission full of water, antifreeze and transmission oil mix (ask me how I know)
Thanks Tim, I'll be sure to replace O-ring!
I'll second the FZR plates. You can also go with 3 TZ clutch springs for more pressure (3 stock 3TZ springs). You won't notice the extra pull.
I was just going to post a similar question for my RZ's clutch, it was getting grabby last year. Thought I remembered something about FZR clutch plates... I'll be picking up a set. Good timing! I believe I have 3 Barnett springs and 3 stock springs. Will have to check lengths to see if I can re-use them.

And remember it's the same clutch as a Banshee, so aftermarket baskets, hubs, pressure plates are available...and I probably have spares if you need 'em

Do Banshee pressure plate use RD400 or RD350 springs?
