Title: Help Finding Fuel Petcock
Post by: BlueR32 on May 02, 2022, 08:05:14 PM
Looking to fit a simple aftermarket (aka cheap) on/off fuel petcock to the tank of the RD/SRX Project. I'm using the SRX tank but the existing outlet/petcock is beyond rescue. The snag is that the petcock bolt spacing on the tank is 45mm. Can anyone point me to something that could work?

RD400 is 34mm. I know Suzuki GT750 is 45mm but I don't want the vacuum activation.

You could fabricate an adapter plate to fit a different petcock.

Thanks guys! Also just discovered that Yamaha XS650 78-83 has a 46mm bolt spacing:

You can disable the vacuum portion of the petcock but then it won't have an off position.
