Been working on it for a couple months.
Was just going to sell it then.
But I am having second thoughts now
Do you have a picture?
No pics? :umm: :metal:
I can see why you're having second thoughts. It's a very pretty bike. So what's the story about it? How did it come your way and what have you done to her since?
p.s- I should of asked this first, how's she run?
Guy had it on FB.
Listed as an RD135.
Listing said it was up for 2 years.
He must have been posting it on & off for that time period.
With wrong title probably got passed up in all the searches.
So I shot him a price, he accepted.
Had uship get it.
Bike was in good running shape, but very dirty
Everywhere, so had to detail it out.
Then replaced a bunch of the rubber bits.
Also tach was slow = other post.
So replaced it & front master aftermarket was put back to original
Came with stock exhaust & airbox.
All emmision stuff gone & 1A1 carbs.
The pipes are from HVC.
And way too loud for me.
Nice! How many miles?
I'd keep it, but that's what I tend to do with nearly everything.
7,600 miles.
Thinking of putting it back to stock.
But the 2V0 carbs are a problem child.
I would need to source them too.

Yeah I've noticed a ton of RD350 bikes listed as RD135 on FB Marketplace. Never sold one on there or anything for that matter but I imagine it must be that when one makes/places an ad for their RD for sale that "RD135" comes up as a choice and without a thought or maybe its a thought too late they place the ad before they can correct that part of it. So then they're just stuck trying to sell a RD135.
Have to decide ui the stock exhaust goes back on.
Versus the HVC pipes
If you have '76, '77 crank and carbs, it's a keeper.
Stock pipes are COOL. You could save the HVC's for something else.
Not sure on the crank.
But it has the 1A1 carbs on it.
If stock pipes go back on, the HVC ones will go up for sale.
