Ralph Ponce told me he's interested in making another batch of Webco style heads with toroidal combustion chambers if he can get enough interest!
Email him, tell him I sent you. ralphponce65@hotmail.com
   I heard a rumor he was going to make another run. I have a set and love em. might get a second set for my R5. just because why not. :celebrate:
How much are they?
Would these heads be beneficial to an RD400 with only pipes and pods?

For the cool factor alone absolutely! But performance-wise, I'm sure it won't hurt.
it helps. made a slight difference on my lightweight, which actually had pro cut rd heads on it already. were really good, the webcos did a little better response wise. but cool factor is about 80% of the appeal as well. they are bitchin.
i mean :love eyes:

Damn Mark, those are bitchin'!
I'm guessing that you will feel the torque increase if your 400 has stock heads. Also, an improvement in power when you would normally experience some loss as the engine becomes heat soaked.
Got a set of originals years ago but have not used them yet. I thought I might put them on a 350 with a set of Denco's I have for an old school look.
I'll buy a set for one of my Daytona Special bike, my factory CDI bikes run hotter than my 77 and would probably benefit from the better head cooling.
I will buy a set for a 75 RD 350 :patriot:

My 75 RD350? Too kind! Let me know when they arrive and I'll be right over.
Did anything happen with these Webco-style heads?
(Not that I have the disposable income)

I'm in the same boat, but will probably jump on them if he's making 'em.
I had had my eye on these when they were first listed on Economy. Not to steal anyone's thunder but I think I'll be mounting a set of these to my race bike instead: https://vintageperformanceproducts.com/shop/ols/products/yamaha-rd400-billet-heads
Or if you like life on the edge, you could roll the dice on these:

My calcs show 12,000 INR = $150 🤣
@pdxjim
No, in the comments the right price is stated. Not the fantasy price as in the main post. He wants roughly 910 Dollars.....

I chatted with the guy making the Billet Webco's in India, I am impressed with them and he can do custom chambers for an additional fee. He can provide 250, 350 and 400 heads. He has several different combustion chamber designs. Heads a machined from Billet 6061 T6.
I already have the US spec castings, about to have them machined for a race 250 and 400 motors with toroidal combustion chambers. If I did not have the castings I would buy from him. He has done some impressive motor work on a drag bike he built including a lockup clutch.
I belive the pricing works out to about 600/set + shipping, your choice of gold, clear and I think black annodize
His RD350 head specifications:
Yamaha RD350 Webco Spec Billet Heads / 21.3cc Volume each cylinder / Agressive squash / 55% Under Squash & 45% area Under chamber bowl (Toridial Cumbustion Chamber) / High Quality Viton O - Rings Replace the copper gasket / Need 3/4 Inch reach spark plugs (Like NGK B8ES)
