Title: Filtering Oil
Post by: Milan on September 09, 2022, 11:25:27 AM
So i posted a while back about a whining noise in my KH250.
I had just put in new transmission fluid.

So I drained it, and replaced the primary gear & clutch gear.
I put in 75w-90 gear oil.

Ran it for about 5 minutes

The gasket leaked.

So I drained the oil back into the bottle.
It came out dirty.
Even after the trany oil flush.

So I took that oil & ran it thru a filter using a mask.

It came out pretty clean, I was surprised.

so, being its new, going to use it.

no reason it wont be fine, ive done that for sure.

as a side note, these are the attachment settings. As long as it fits these requirements it should load. if not, you're probably doing something wrong.
