French blue sure is pretty and must be rare for '77 as I've never seen one in person in my lifetime! Was it offered in the US for any year? I've seen plenty of Chappy Reds and the occasional Geneva Green.
I agree, it is getting crazy of the asking and selling prices. Better hang on to what you've got if you have them. :omg: :vroom:

French Blue was one of the two colors available on the RD400D (the other being Chappy Red). Geneva Green was a '76 color.
French Blue was also used on the RD200C, XS650C, DT175C, TY250C, & XS360D.
It's one of my favorite Yamaha colors! :thumbs:

^ well, I have seen French Blue in person then with Edd's beautiful RD200! Still waiting to see an RD400 I'm French Blue.... :undecided: It is a very striking color!
