Beautiful day here in NC today and what better way to celebrate 1/1/2023 than a ride on a VJ23!
Happy New Year to one & all
Happy 23 :whoop:
Sadly it's too cold and wet for a ride this New Years day for my VJ23
But, out of all my two strokes....this is my favorite.

Beautiful motorcycles, gentlemen
^ yes they are beautiful exotic Suzukis! I'll need to read up on the different versions though...
Beautiful bikes. One day I will figure out a way to own one.
Thanks
Not much real info on them.
But that is because they were a home market only bike, only built for 7 month time period, with only 2218 total ever built.
Restricted to 40hp by the Japanese government, 357 of the total were exported in unrestricted form with about 55hp rating....(believed to have gone mostly to Hong Kong.)
Parts basically non existent, over 50% of the bikes parts start off with a 42E....these parts were never used by any other Suzuki.
It was a big financial loss for Suzuki, because 1996 was the last year any of the manufactures built these bikes because of the Kyoto protocol/agreement.
Handling is said to feel as good as a TZ250 when on the track.
A UK mag did an article on the VJ23 with the assumption that they would be exported like the VJ21 and VJ22 were....
Never happened.

I was referring to an RGV 250 in general not necessarily the one year only one which is definitely beyond my price range. I rode one of Mark D's at the Gap last year ,an 89 model with the Pepsi graphics ( I think it was an 89) and I digress.. it was a wonderful experience...https://youtu.be/T41vNh8u4x0
^ love, love, love that 10 mile stretch on Hwy 28 to DGMR!! :cheerleader:  Watching you Tim on that Suzuki gets me excited for May! How are the ergos on that bike Tim?
Considering the low bars and seating position it was surprisingly comfortable. It is very smooth as well. Amazing power for a 250.
