Anyone know what these are? https://seattle.craigslist.org/est/mpo/d/seattle-yamaha-rd400-expansion-chamber/7575669883.html
I don't know the company that made them but that is a good price if one can identify fitment! :vroom:
pretty sure those are Coffman pipes. look a LOT like dg except the flange connection. good pipes, better than dg. not great but def worth the money
Yeah I thought they were DG.
I think I shall commence acquiring them! I still have room in my rafters for another set of pipes I probably won't use. But hopefully someone here might need................D
heres the one set i had, on a 350b with a 400 motor.
^ they do looked like they are tucked tighter with more ground clearance than DGs.
i'll be honest, i thought they were dgs when i got them w the bike. but at the time i happened to have a set of dgs in the rafters, and there were def slight differences when i compared them. they worked really well on a streetbike, that 400 motor was slightly ported with 34's and a dynaIII ignition (was an old school build i brought back). it was an absolute tractor and pulled nice to 9k. Im not saying 100% the ones for sale are coffmans, but they do look like them. even if they are dgs, still a good price. :twocents:
for $200 they're definitely worth trying out! Looks like they're in pretty good shape and they include the flanges and HW.
Done deal, pick em up Monday........................D
