last week new years day ride. (after this, i caught a pretty nasty headcold, just getting over it now. lol. )
took the 72 T500 out, i was asked to lead. was a fun run, did just a hair over 100 miles through south carolina.
the CB is a 76K a local guy owns, super nice guy, also has a really nice 500 interceptor. Our local riders are pretty diverse, and there were actually 3 women on this ride. (part of the same group that goes to the bike nights).
That is a diverse group of bikes and very cool that all will ride together. I've experienced some of the opposite where I am with diversity and riding with a 2 Stroke. :undecided: :umm: A C14 and Harley bagger too! Smoke on!! :olaf:
it is a good group.
Note the KTM390? thats little daves GF, Alycia. Shes the one that also has my old CB400-F I got from Jim Gaal. Dave was nowhere to be found but she will come out on rare occasion. Was a very good day for sure. :gentleman:
Looks like fun (even if a little cold). Looks like a decent sized group. Nice mix of bikes. :vroom:
Couldn't do that here, we've had showers/rain for nearly a week until yesterday. (And I don't ride in the rain if I can avoid it.)
it absolutely poured the day before, roads were still damp here and there but was in the mid to high 50s. the guys behind me, even the guy on the concours was complaining their hands were cold. 'really?' :dawg:
The coolest bike is the 2-stroke!

Whatever happened to Dave (from Charlotte) from way back on the old site? Is he still around? Does he ever ride with you guys?
Dave .. hes mad ? i guess? at me and a bunch of other people (not related reasons as far as i know) for whatever reason, that no one knows. I still (obviously) talk to his GF, but he just dropped out of the loop with about 10 of us. I'm sure he has his reasons, but no one, even his GF doesn't know why. Go figure. But, its a solid question. He still has his bikes though.
Dave's not here.
