I'm planning on cleaning up my dash on my rd400 and would like to relocate an ignition switch. I've seen it done in the frame gusset by the horn or in the headlight. I'd like to use a yamaha switch but I've come across a Honda cb750 switch that looks like it would mount easier into a hole. What switches have you guys used in the past for this type of thing. I've noticed varying numbers of wires out the back on diffrent ones
cb one will have a threaded nut that def makes it easier to mount, but im sure there are yamaha ones what will mount the same as well..? kawasaki ones are smaller and have a threaded but as well.
