I'm going to paint my bike in the near future. My question is related to the decal sets you can buy for RD's. On my 75 the tank is cleared over the graphics; side covers are not. Does anyone know if you can clear coat over these new types of decals, or is best not to?

you can clear over them for sure.

That's how my painter did mine. He offered it to me either way. Clearing over is recommended.

I did clear (because it was waterborne color paint) under AND over the decals. Looks great.
