Title: Galfer brake line fitting?
Post by: OnlyCrimnson on May 21, 2019, 12:25:08 AM
On one of my RD's I have the Galfer braided line with the standard fitting for the RD350 caliper.  While I was moving some stuff in the garage I knocked a road bicycle wheel off the wall and it happened to hit the front caliper exactly at the fitting and it snapped it.  Is it possible to have a new fitting crimped on or some other method?  It seems like such a waste too just get rid of the line.

Check your area for industrial hydraulic hose repair.
How much slack is in the line? Because the old fitting will have to be cut off in order to install a new one.
