Title: cleaning debris after piston burn out

Is there an easy way to be sure that debris following overheating piston failure is cleaned out of motor case with out splitting the case?

No reason to compound a bad situation by not cleaning well. Cases aren't too difficult to separate and clean. You don't need to remove the trans either.
