Title: Dave F Mod
Post by: Karl squire on September 16, 2023, 09:59:15 AM
So relevant to another thread this came up but its a different topic its only a quick question.
When I bought the bike it already had the Dave F mod done, relative to the other topic the issue of cleaning the air jets came up.
I removed the 2mm air jets out to inspect and clean them.

Question:

I can see the Needle Jet looking in to the modified air jet hole, I cant really find any answer but from what I gather they should not be that deep or are they supposed to be open to the Needle Jet. Sorry for all the threads I  'll delete this one once someone can answer my question lol but I will have more. :-) Cheers everyone.

looking in the bellmouth, it should be a 2mm open hole straight to the needle jet. most just drill th ehole, some drill and tap in an actual air jet. either way works fine, but it needs to be 2.0mm. its pretty far down in there as well.  :twocents:
