Title: TZR 250 Electrical
Post by: Milan on November 06, 2023, 06:41:49 PM
So for this bike.
Does the engine need to be running for the headlite to come on?
Mine does not come on with the key & switch.
But it does come on when I press the Pass button.

Also manual states flasher relay up front, but can't find it.
Is it under tank, like always?

Traced the wiring using the diagram.
Found the handle switch contacts were not working.
Cleaned up, and headlite now works.

Now going to check flasher unit.
Battery may be low.

Yes bike runs.
I was taking apart to clean it up.
as we all know about PO's.

Did not have it running while testing the Turn signals
I get a nice Hummm out of the relay.

yeah the signals will typically need the battery amperage to fire the relay. or the relay is getting old (they do wear out). I put a new digital in mine
