Title: RZ Track Mods
Post by: mizike77 on November 16, 2023, 03:40:09 PM
I all, I am in the early stages of gathering parts for an RZ race bike. Id like to build something period correct, so no big parts after say, 1990.
I know there was an FZ swingarm commonly used, but I am not sure what wheels, brakes and front end was common then. Thanks

I have 2 of them with FZ600 alu swingarm and FZR front ends. They work quite well but may push you in to early to mid 90's. The bike in the last photot has a SV650 17" rear wheel.

Yes, I do know that the FZR front end swap was popular as well. Are you swapping the trees , or just the forks ?

Look for a set of magnesium wheels if you want a period correct look.
I have some Dymags off an old race bike on mine.
