Got a couple of two strokes in the garage. 1975 Yamaha Rd250/350 and a 1972 Kawasaki H1 500. Just about finished the RD and the Kaw is completely torn down awaiting it's turn.
Nice! Welcome to the club.
RD and H1 look great!
The Kawi had a real ugly looking crank. Took a while just to get the cylinders off without damaging them and this was what awaited me when I split the cases.
ooof! yeah that crank. whos going to rebuild it? that 250 is nice too. :gentleman:
Going to have Charlie Smith of triplecranks.com do it. Had him do the crank for the RD and I was more than happy with it. The RD was converted to a 350 years ago by the guy I got from.
Thought the two stroke crowd would appreciate the side cover graphics on the RD.
nice. Charlie does great work. I had a 73 i did up in 75 250 colors, was a great looking bike.
that decal is pretty funny

I think this is the last part for the RD build. Should be here by the end of March.
Cant wait to see it
Finally feeling good enough to get some work done in the garage. The heads do like nice and I'll have to wait and see how well they perform.
