Title: Let the engine rebuild begin
Post by: STLMike on April 16, 2024, 09:08:23 PM
Got my workbench clean, a pile of seals, tools, a beer and smokey the bandit on TV.
After disassembly, case halves and carbs go for vapor blast.

Wish me luck

ah.. the good part.

Nice.  I cant do TV in the garage or drink, that's for afterwards, to me. Prob has to do with being a mechanic years ago in shops? I don't know how anyone does it TBH. ( i know i'm in the minority).

Smokey and the Bandit = bad choice. You'll be laughing too hard. Something more subtle, like the Princess Bride, comes to mind.
I'm envious of your clean & tidy workspace!

I generally have the tv on motortrend while Im wrenching in the shop.

I just like to listen to the dialogue, radio jangles my concentration too much for some reason?
