Just traded a lawnmower for this'75 MX100. I have a couple of people in my life who want to learn how to ride, and I think this will be just right, while still being fun for me!

Let the parts search begin!

great score! FYI that is a post-1975 MX100- more like 77/78. 1974/75 MX100 was a larger framed bike that had pipe running through the downtubes, bigger wheels, etc. 1974 was Yellow/black and 1975 was White/Red. VINs started with 427.There was also a DT100 enduro through 1976. VINs on that started 437. Yamaha introduced the YZ100C monoshock in 1976 and the MX series was downsized and simplified for kids and beginners. Have Fun!

 shots fired!
Your point is well taken; the weather has been almost nice enough to ride to work and I should dig it out today.

I had to do something about the levers; dinky bicycle brake lever on the right and a brake lever on the clutch perch. As part of my concours restoration, I pulled a clutch perch with lever and a brake lever out of the miscellaneous motorcycle bits box.

I knew the oil tank had gone missing, but wondered about the pump...

Fork seals have fought the good fight

The seat doesn't look right, does it? It feels a little odd when you sit on it, too...

I ordered a set of points and a condenser, and almost ordered a bowl gasket, but it's the same gasket as an RZ350! Those I have on hand, so I can pull the carb and see the evil that surely lurks within.

Now I just need some good weather

I think we can all agree: better.

Got to keep them running...fire them up at least once every couple months during the off season just to keep everything working.
Took out my VJ23-SP and my VJ21-SP today, for the first time this year finally.
